Random Birthdays Week for Feb 25: George Harrison

What’s a message or melody that you think deserves to be shared?

February 25th is a special day for birthdays—one of them belonging to my favorite Beatle, the late George Harrison, born in 1943.

Known as “the quiet Beatle,” his talent spoke in beautiful volumes. He wrote my favorite Beatles song (Here Comes the Sun) and created what many consider the best solo album by any of the Fab Four (All Things Must Pass).

And then there’s Something—a song so timeless that Elvis, Ray Charles, Diana Ross, Frank Sinatra, and even Paul McCartney (on ukulele!) covered it. Nearly 600 versions of Harrison’s masterpiece exist.

George Harrison’s music reminds me that when we have something worth sharing, we must share it. And if we can’t do it alone, we find the right people to help.

Happy birthday week, George.
