I’m the guy with the lunchbox

Me? I’m the professor lugging a little lunchbox from class to class.

Not for food, though.

It’s my teaching toolkit.

Inside: index cards, crayons, dry-erase markers (and hopefully an eraser), my clicker, a dongle, extra pens, and… a green Mold-A-Rama gorilla to remind everyone of the “gorilla in the room.” (Because there always is one. I bring it.)

Every semester, someone asks, “What’s for lunch?” And I reply, “Oh, this? Let me tell you about my lunchbox…”

There are worse things to be known for around campus, I guess.
