From Me to You (and to Me, too): Pick Up the Phone

Or, if you have phoneophobia like me, then send an email.

It’s easy to give advice. I think I find it easy to take advice too.

But for me to heed the words that I say to others? Not so easy.

So this one is for both of us.

If there’s somebody you need to contact, just do it. Do it today. Do it now.

If it’s been a long time since your last conversation, so what? It’s just getting longer.

A lot of this hesitation is due to not knowing what the person on the other line is thinking, not sure how they’ll react.

Hey, just make that call. Then you’ll know! And I have a feeling they’ll be glad to hear from you. Because that relationship with you means something to them, too.

Keep those relationships that are important to you, keep them alive.

You can do it. You’ll be glad you did.

(And so will I!)
