From Me to You (and to Me, too): It’s You, Just Not Just You.

How’s that for a tongue-twister of a title?

It’s easy to give advice. I think I find it easy to take advice too.

But for me to heed the words that I say to others? Not so easy.

So this one is for both of us.

One of the first things I learned in my first psychology class:

We are all different from each other.

Yet none of us are as different as we think we are.

Keep this in mind if you ever wonder why these things keep happening to you.

They’re happening to all of us.

And don’t forget that you are unique.

Maybe not compared to everyone, but indeed compared to the people around you.

You can do it. You’ll be glad you did.

(And so will I!)

See you tomorrow!
