From me to you (and to me, too): Oh Boo-Hoo

It’s easy to give advice. I think I find it easy to take advice too.

But for me to heed the words that I say to others? Not so easy.

So this one is for both of us.

Oh Boo-Hoo

Work can be difficult, and then something happens… a new challenge, an unexpected slip, a bad actor, a dirty look, a misunderstanding… and now it’s even worse.

Take a breath.

Look around you.

Is it really that bad?

Maybe yes, maybe no.

Is it even worse for someone near you, maybe someone without your experience or your standing, someone who doesn’t have the same tools to overcome THEIR challenges as you do?

Instead of wringing your hands, why not extend your hands instead?

Help someone out.

Keep that in mind.

You can do it. You’ll be glad you did.
