From me to you (and to me, too): Clear > Clever

It’s easy to give advice. I think I find it easy to take advice too.

But for me to heed the words that I say to others? Not so easy.

So this one is for both of us.

You know me. I love wordplay. Rhyme and pun intent.

I am exactly as clever as I think I am. But I might be wrong. 

And there’s a time and place.

It’s best to be clear and direct.

Sensitive and empathetic, of course.

Clarity is graceful.

When communicating with others, remember that clear is almost always better than clever.

You can do it. You’ll be glad you did.
