Worth It Thursday v2: Your talents and experience are attracting more attention

We’re getting toward the end of the week and to help us make it to the weekend, I’d like to share some more reasons why you are worth whatever you are being paid (or think you should be paid) and more.

Here’s another reason why you are worth your reward (and please help me add to this list!):

Your talents and experience are attracting more interest and demand in your industry.

You might realize this. You might not, not yet anyway. Are you putting yourself out there? Networking? Going to conferences? Taking advantage of professional development opportunities? Taking higher profile assignments? Getting into committees with other important people? Participating in industry organizations?

Interesting, isn’t it?

The more you know, the more you are known. And vice versa.

Take notes, my friend. If you’re giving more, you should be getting more in return.
