When is it 11:30* for you?

There’s a quote attributed to Lorne Michaels, the visionary who brought Saturday Night Live to our homes nearly 50 years ago, that I love and that I want to take more to heart:

“The show doesn’t go on because it’s ready; it goes on because it’s 11:30.”

If you keep waiting until something is ready, it may never be ready enough. **

What do you need to finish, to deliver, to move off of your desk and onto the next stop in the journey?

Declare when your 11:30 will be.

That’s when you’re done and ready to move on to the next item on your list.
