Let’s show everyone how we’re celebrating the end of the week!

Okay, this particular picture does not look much like big ol’ 58-year-old me at all but I think I shared some fraction of Christopher Morel’s joy on Wednesday (along with countless crazed Cubs fans) after Morel’s game-winning home run that night.

He’s hit a few homers… including one that I wrote about over a year ago, when he hit a home run in his first ever major league appearance.  He’s good at that. But none more thrilling than the one that compelled him to rip his shirt off in celebration.

And I’ll repeat what I wrote back then:

“Even if you don’t care for baseball, take a moment to appreciate the joy, the celebration, of Chris Morel of the Chicago Cubs.”

And “Even if it’s on a smaller scale, how can you ignite, enliven, inspire, the people around you?”
