Not The Same Spaceship
Yesterday, I asked you to share your thoughts on the next thing to become obsolete.
In recent years, we’ve seen the condensed and then rapidly ending product life cycles of several things.
It wasn’t so long ago that we (or at least me) could not imagine living without items like VCRs, CDs and CD players.
I know I’m only scratching the surface here.
Then I read that AM radio might become a thing of the past because of the electromagnetic interference that occurs in electric vehicles.
Can I live without AM radio?
Well, as a Cubs fan, no. I don’t think I can.
But I’ll have to.
This is just the price of progress.
As we move forward, some things get left behind.
The spaceship that lands on the Moon or Mars is not the same spaceship that left the Earth.
It can’t be.
Some things have to be shed and left in the past so the important things can move forward.
What do you think?
Can you accept that?
See you tomorrow!
