Brave versus Fearless

Fearlessness is the absence of fear.

Bravery is doing something despite feeling fear.

Being fearless, as exciting as that sounds, might mean being ignorant of your surroundings. That might also mean being unaware of, or ignoring, possible consequences of your actions.

Being brave means that you are aware of risks and consequences, and you decided that  you have to act, to move forward anyway.

Go in with your eyes open and be brave.
