Worth It Thursday: The Value You Add to Your Team
We’re getting toward the end of the week and to help us make it to the weekend, I’d like to share some reasons why you are worth whatever you are being paid (or think you should be paid) and more.
Here’s why you are worth your reward (and please help me add to this list!):
Think about it like this: How would your team work without you?
It might be that your greatest contribution is being a good teammate. No matter how skilled or talented an individual is, they cannot achieve success alone. A good teammate is someone who not only excels in their own role but also supports and helps others around them to succeed.
Maybe it’s the positive environment that just seems to follow you around. Perhaps it’s the respect you show for your colleagues’ opinions and their ideas. Or how you are able to see and work toward a common goal.
Your presence creates an environment that helps to improve morale, productivity, and creativity, leading to better outcomes for the team and the organization as a whole.
Whether you’re the straw that stirs the drink or the glue that holds the whole thing together, you know that your success is intertwined with the success of the team
Because you know that you are worth all that and more.
What do you think?
See you tomorrow!
