I have a confession to make.

Well, you’ve heard of AI and ChatGPT and all that stuff, right?

Okay.

I used ChatGPT to help me write a recent post.

I typed in the title of the post and let the robot do its work.

The result?

Kind of bland. Definitely not in my voice. Not acceptable.

I kept some of the structure but rewrote everything else so I could put my name on it.

Yep, the world is changing really fast.

(In some ways, and seems to be going backward in other ways but that’s for another day)

And we have to get on that rocket ship or be left behind.

But don’t be scared. And don’t be in denial.

We must evolve and adapt to the world around us. We will.

On a lighter note, I asked Dall-E, the AI for images, to create a picture of me, aka “David Aron marketing professor Dominican University.” Take a look at how that turned out.

Maybe the only thing to be afraid of is relying too much on AI and not enough on ourselves.

And it looks like John Tuturro is among the finalists to play me in my bio-pic.

I was kinda hoping for George Clooney.
