Professor on a Pendulum
Sometimes life is a lovely drive with very little traffic.
Sometimes life is a thrilling, spinning hydroplane on slick highway that you think will never end… and not in a good way.
And sometimes life is a finding yourself in the middle of somebody else’s high-speed car chase with half a dozen police cars in pursuit until you end up shredding your tires over a spike strip meant for somebody else.
These aren’t metaphors, folks.
But remember, things even out.
And if you don’t think things even out, then make them.
Find the good stuff. It’s there.
If you feel like you’re on a pendulum, don’t worry, it will swing the other way.
And if you don’t think your glass is at least half full, then pour in some more.
That’s it. Your metaphors.
What do you think?
See you tomorrow.
