Your biggest customer is your medium
How do you get people to share your important message?
Your biggest customer is your medium.
You realize that a happy customer will tell a few people.
An unhappy customer will tell a lot of people.
That’s old textbook stuff. Now of course everything is amplified and magnified to a crazy extent.
I’ve heard several times that a goal of communicators, podcasters, bloggers, etc. is to know that their audience is yelling back at them, engaged, often via comments.
That’s engagement, involvement.
That’s good but it’s not enough.
You want them to SHARE what makes them yell back at you. Without sharing it’s still that old school a-few-at-a-time kind of media. Sharing is the “force multiplier” that not only gets many, many more peoples’ attention, but also causes these ideas to leap from your audiences to other, newer audiences that might have only a small overlap with yours.
How do you get people to share your important message?
How is your offering, your message, something that people want to share with the people they care about?
What works for you?
See you tomorrow!
