How High You Bounce

There is a quote that has been attributed to many sources of wisdom, from Confucius to Mark Twain to 1990s pop sensation Marc Anthony, that says “if you choose a job you love, you will never have to work a day in your life.” 

Well, I love my job, and sometimes it feels like plenty of work.

A better way to look at your work and your career might be attributed to General George Patton, “success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom.”

Before I got to where I am, I hit a few different versions of the bottom a few different times.

I’ve been bouncing back up ever since.
