Face Front! Friday!
Face Front! Friday!
Let’s show everyone how we’re celebrating the end of the week!
Post an image (you or a passable proxy) that shows how you’re feeling on this fine Friday.
Me?
Well in case you’re wondering “Who is that dashing 30 year old with hair exactly the same as Dave’s, except darker and less receding? Who??”
Today’s picture is from when I first joined the American Marketing Association, as a grad student. Now, almost 30 years later, I’m finally getting more involved.
Why are we doing this deep, distant, decade diving?
Well the best time to plant a tree might be 30 years ago, but the second best time is still now. Tomorrow is a distant, distant third.
I had such a wonderful time volunteering to run today’s 1-day Marketing Boot Camp for Students at #Loyola University Chicago, courtesy of the #AMAChicago. There’s nothing quite like watching a plan fall into place. Just a bunch of scrappy volunteers and over 50 students, with some amazing speakers. So much energy, and so much learning.
Plant that tree. Start something today, and don’t waste your energy worrying about 30 years ago.
What do you think?
Have a great weekend!
