Burnt Cork and a Walk in the Dark

What is your favorite Halloween memory?

For me, it’s a tie:

Mom lovingly applying a burnt cork beard to my sweet little face, transforming me into Dave the Hobo.

And a general sense of amazement at the love my wife put into making costumes for our kids.
